Free Checkups, Medicines, and More: What’s Available at This Year’s Medical Mission
In Rizal, Palawan, care keeps growing because communities keep showing up for one another. On May 30 and 31, Medical Mission from the Heart returns once again to help our community neighbors. This is not a one-time gesture. It is a continuation of relationships, trust, and shared efforts built over time.
Hosted once again at the Lionheart Farms Office in Bgy. Ransang, this two-day mission brings together health professionals, local leaders, and neighbors to meet real needs in practical, respectful ways. All services are free. Every resident of Rizal is welcome.
Guided by the Community
Everything starts with listening. Parents shared their hopes for better care during pregnancy. Barangay health workers spoke about the need for follow-ups, not one-time visits. Youth leaders described what families face every day. These voices shaped the mission from the very beginning.
Each service reflects what the community asked for — clearly, honestly, and with care. Here is what will be available:
Medical Services
- OB-Gyne consultations
-
Pediatric checkups
-
Internal medicine consultations
-
Ophthalmology services
Additional Services
-
Free medicines
-
Tooth extractions
-
Circumcision
-
Anti-rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats
-
Haircuts for all ages
Each service responds to real needs. Nothing is added for show. Nothing is missing by accident. The goal is simple: make trusted care available and consistent.

Built Around What Matters Most
Gabay Kalinga Foundation organizes the mission with deep respect for the people of Rizal. Every detail—timing, flow, services—follows what the community shared in earlier conversations. Barangay health workers, youth, and volunteers support on the ground, making sure the space stays welcoming, steady, and safe for all.
Children have a nearby play area with games, stories, and activities, so families can focus on care while still sharing moments of joy.
Real Change Happens Together
Gabay Kalinga Foundation and Lionheart work alongside the community, never taking the lead alone. The mission thrives because teachers, parents, health workers, and youth guide every step. Medical professionals share their skills. Local leaders bring deep understanding.
No one holds all the power. Everyone shares responsibility and ownership. This mission respects the knowledge and strength that already live within the community.
This work is not charity. It is partnership rooted in trust and shared purpose. It honors the people shaping the change they want to see.

Showing Up Again Matters
One-time efforts rarely go far. What moves things forward is showing up again and staying present. This second medical mission shows the community that care is not a one-time event.
When people see the same place, familiar faces, and steady support, they feel safer asking questions, following up on concerns, and trusting the process.
Health work takes time. It grows stronger when people do not have to start over each time. This return brings continuity, confidence, and real connection.
Be Part of Shared Health
Medical Mission from the Heart happens because the people of Rizal make it happen. Families bring their trust and presence. Barangays keep things organized and steady. Health workers lend their skills. Volunteers make sure everything flows smoothly. No one sits out. Everyone has a role.
